Vintage 1940s Polish Rag Doll Painted Face Russian Babushka Folk Art 4.25"
Very nice condition overall. Please carefully review photos prior to purchase.
Condition Details:
• Face: Excellent vintage condition. The painted features are bright and crisp with virtually no scuffing or paint loss.
• Hair: Original blonde flax/mohair strands are intact. There are a few typical loose or stray fibers around the hairline under the headscarf, adding to her rustic antique charm.
• Costume & Body: The doll retains its original factory texture. The fabrics are strong with expected, honest age wear. There is light fraying along the raw edges of the woven shawl and apron hems, which is completely standard for textiles of this era. One very tiny hole in skirt, can barely be seen in the photo.
• Feet / Base: She has knit-stocking legs terminating in black cloth feet. Note that there is a small wear spot/minor hole on the bottom of the right foot revealing the interior stuffing material (please see close-up photos).
